Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has made the shortlist for the 2014 Ballon d'Or, joining longtime rival Lionel Messi and 21 others who are up for this year's award, SkySports reported Oct. 30. The shortlist will be whittled down to three top contenders in December, and the winner will be revealed at a ceremony in Zurich on Jan. 14, 2014.
